Got Dirt? Email Me

If you have dirt on Joyent and want it out there, you should email it to me.

There's no way I'm the only one who's been burned by their lies and incompetence. If you're an employee, customer or supplier with a story be sure to send it through. Perhaps we can gain some insight into their incompetent operations.

My take:

Joyent is a good company run by good people that provides incredible services, despite some of the issues they have had in the past.

And you are just an anonymous asshole.

Good day.

Not all people are as good as they seem.

I'd like to know why Dean Allen is no longer around. It seems like after the TextDrive/Joyent "merger" he just kind of faded out of all company operations and eventually disappeared.

I second Fitzage's comments. After bouncing among shared hosts for years, I have had a solid time with Joyent the past 3.

And my rsync backups to joyent's strongspace saved my ass.

Good thing people are smart enough not to trust, as Fitzage puts so well, anonymous assholes.

Don't I know it. But nobody does everything right all the time, and people that expect that are assholes, plain and simple.

I understand you're p.o.ed. The SS outage was annoying, but hardly the end of the earth.

Given that you've chosen to be anonymous, how do I know you're reliable and not some manifestation of Karl Rove? Anyone can post rants and lies. If you're unwilling to stand behind what you say, by identifying yourself and your *real* grievances, you have no more credibility than a Bush press conference.

Because you don't sign your name it didn't happen, or complaints aren't valid, or you're an "asshole"?

The press conceals sources all the time. Because someone desires or needs some form of anonymity does not invalidate what they have to say.

In fact, I can't view any of your blogger profiles without creating one myself - how do I know you are who you claim to be? I know a lot of davids and larrys, and I don't know what the hell a 'fitzage' is.

Make your profiles public and give out your information, you assholes!
